Another shoot for Build It magazine and this time a wonderful earth sheltered house owned by farmer Dairmid Baird and designed by architect Peter Gunning of Archid Architects. A childhood vision realised in a strikingly modern and spacious building set into the hillside at Scotson Hill and designed to have minimum impact on its surroundings. The house is certified passive and was built to be energy efficient. Images have appeared in Build It magazine and Scotland on Sunday.
