I recently spent four days on the River Spey with Dave Craig of Spirit of the Spey. Dave leads trips that blend open canoeing on the River Spey with exclusive Malt Whisky Tasting Experiences. Each day was spent gently paddling along the Spey and each night at comfortable hotel accommodation complete with delicious and well earned dinners. Whisky distillery tours of Cragganmore distillery and Aberlour Distillery and were quickly followed by tastings of generous amounts of whisky. Not to mention the tastings provided by Dave himself, often on the banks of the river itself. An all round unique and wonderful journey I am glad to have experienced.
